"Flow glow" - Japan-Germany Collaborative Photo Exhibition Poster&DM

Posters & DM Connecting Akita and Passau

We created the poster and DM for the 40th anniversary photo exhibition “Flow/Glow,” celebrating sister city ties between Akita and Passau. For this project, we placed photos by a German and a Japanese photographer above and below.

Meanwhile, the design connects two very different worlds through layout. Additionally, the title “Flow/Glow” appears in a custom font bridging the photos. This visual choice highlights the collaborative nature of the exhibition.

Furthermore, the poster was produced in both Japanese and German versions. Each version was used at the exhibitions in Akita and Passau, helping to connect both cities through art and design.
