Exhibition Design for Flow glow: 40 Years of Friendship

To mark the 40th anniversary of the sister city partnership between Akita and Passau, we designed the exhibition layout and graphics for Art Photography Exchange – Flow glow. The exhibition took place at Akita City’s Culture and Arts Center.

We arranged the layout for German photographer Klaus Ditté’s black-and-white photos. The large prints merged beautifully with the exposed concrete walls, creating a quiet, immersive space. To highlight the theme, we added the title “Flow/Glow” on the front wall, using grey vinyl that reflected light like silver.

Meanwhile, the second floor showcased works by Japanese photographer Hiroshi Kusanagi.
We designed the greeting panels and supporting visuals for his exhibit.
